This collection is NOT OPEN TO BUSINESSES or INSTITUTIONS.  For recycling opportunities view the District's Waste Facts booklet.

The collections are held simultaneously in each of the three counties:  An additional material that will be accepted during this event includes ink cartridges.

Ottawa County - at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds on W. State Route 163, Oak Harbor.  click here for directions to collection location

Tire Recycling Information

 There is a small fee to recycle tires.

MATERIALS ACCEPTED:

       •  A maximum of 10 tires per household
       •  Car and small truck tires - $0.50 each
       •  Racing tires - $2.00 each
       •  Tires on or off the rim


MATERIALS NOT ACCEPTED:

         •  TRACTOR TIRES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED DURING THIS COLLECTION.  Click here to view licensed tire recyclers within our District.


Tire Disposal Contractors

 If you need to recycle tires before our collection, they can be taken to any of the two registered tire recycling contractors in our District.  The following contractors include:
