2. Monday, June 2^nd, 2008, - 2 sessions – 10 a.m. or 6 p.m.

The Competitive Funding Program was created to provide funding to local governments, educational institutions, ODNR recycling and litter prevention programs and non-profit organizations for solid waste programs.  The District cannot, by law, fund any privately owned business.
 

All potential grant applicants are required to attend a meeting at the District office prior to submitting an application.    The purpose of these meetings is to explain what information is needed to properly fill out the grant application form, understanding eligibility, and proper documentation for the application and final report forms.  District staff will be available for questions.  Meetings will last approximately 1 hour depending on questions.  There are two funding rounds per year and meetings will be held 3-4 weeks prior to each of these deadlines.    Grant Deadlines: January 31st June 30th *Please note that your application must be in the office by 4:30 p.m. on these dates in order to be considered.  Postmarked applications received after these dates will not be accepted.  Please do not ask us to make extensions – these are firm deadlines.  Applicants must contact Assistant Director Amy Drummer prior to attending a meeting to confirm which session you will be attending.
